Rhema Jordan Labbe is a contemporary visual artist currently based in Washington, D.C. Jordan’s interdisciplinary body of work represents the unseen by exploring visual interpretations of cultural identity, memory and non-linear experience.

While Rhema Jordan’s work exists in the mediums of traditional and experiential sound, poetry, and design, her painting practice lives at the forefront. In her practice, she integrates gestural forms, oil and pastels, written language, and found material to transform emotive and spiritual experiences into physical and experiential forms.

Jordan approaches art as a process that reflects the interplay between personal and collective narrative, using abstraction to foster a conversation our interconnectedness and healing.
